So far, we’re going to start with these Area Code Shirts, specific to the San Francisco Bay Area: Oakland, San Jose, East Bay, etc… Western Front has a great Cafe Press store, repping Bay Area shirts. There’s a lot of pride in the Bay Area. Pride in our sports teams, music scene, festivals, international diversity, and all the natural resources at our fingertips (hiking, skiing, mountain biking, surfing, etc…).

While the overall Bay Area shares much in common, there is enough specialized interest to create smaller sub-identities, often broken down by area code. Of course Ludacris’ famous song ‘Area Codes’ helped greatly to canonize the use of area codes as a descriptor of local culture. Where do you live? I, myself, just moved from The 415 to The 510.
